Sainikpuri lies to the North East of the Twin
cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. It is a
cooperative housing society for retired defence
personnel. Sainikpuri actually started off as a
housing society for Army Officers, but now has
houses which belong to other defence services as
well as a few civilians.
The society is well planned and maintained.
Roads are well made numbered. There is a common
Auditorium / Mess which offers a variety of
services for the people living in Sainikpuri.
These services include a gymnasium, community
hall as well as get togethers in the form of
festival "melas" and the occasional tambolas.
