The simmering discontent in the
Telangana Rashtra Samithi is all set to reach the boiling point
very soon, if one were to go by the reports that senior TRS
leader and MP A Narendra is likely part ways with party
president K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Sources say Narendra is dissatisfied with the way the TRS
president handled the entire Legislative Council elections,
while KCR is upset with the way Narendra is hobnobbing with the
TRS rebel MLAs clandestinely. Over a period of time, KCR is
deliberately keeping Narendra's followers at bay.
Going by the indications, Narendra might stage a revolt against
the leadership of KCR and even might plan revival of Telangana
Sangharshana Samithi, which he had floated in 2001 before it
merged with the TRS. All the TRS rebel MLAs might join the TSS,
which would get strengthened with the merger of Talli Telangana
party. Which means, there is going be a bigger turmoil in the
party, which might upset the plans of the TRS president to
capture the Greater Hyderabad elections. |
